JOE PANTOLIANO IS COMING TO MINNESOTA!

When Joe Pantoliano’s face appears on a movie screen,
audiences are quick to recognize Guido from “Risky Business,” or Ralph Cifaretto of “The
Sopranos” – or recall his work in box office hits such as “The Matrix,” “Memento,” or “Midnight
Run.” But these days, the versatile actor is taking on what could be his most important role:
One as an advocate for mental health.
Through his organization NO KIDDING ME TOO! Joe has been on a
crusade to raise awareness about mental health issues and “Stomp the Stigmas” associated
with mental illness. Using his self-directed documentary NO KIDDING ME TOO! as the
vehicle, Joe has been traveling the world to spread the good word, and his next stop is right
here in Minnesota!
Join Joe Pantoliano, members of the cast, distinguished professionals working in mental
health, and everyone interested in being happy for the regional premiere of NO KIDDING ME
TOO!. The film will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by 89.3 The Current’s Mary
Lucia, a reception hosted at CRAVE which includes complimentary appetizers and drinks,
and a silent auction with items ranging from gift certificates to salons including Jungle Red,
floor seats at the Timberwolves game, and an all expense paid trip to Cabo! All proceeds go
to benefit NO KIDDING, ME TOO!

Why: The goal is to lift the misconceptions and stigmas surrounding mental illness and “Brain
Dis-ease”, while raising awareness about a proactive organization that is making a difference.
